About the Role:
Join TRUCARING INC as a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) OR CNA in Fort Wayne, IN, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients. We are seeking compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing quality care and support in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and wellbeing to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and follow care plans as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- use a Hoyer lift at home
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) in Indiana.
- Experience in home health care or a similar caregiving role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks as required by state regulations.
